Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews: 5 stars

“In As the Waters Rise, the reader is brought into the life of Manny Stewart and his family, and the interesting dynamics of his relationships, with his wife and son, which bring in that realism, and shows that their flaws, perfections, and tragedies and triumphs are blended perfectly into the story.

I am a big fan of Susan Greenberg Feltman and want to read whatever this author writes. This author has a grand imagination, and talent for showing the story. Insert the environment, an underground Colony of New York, where survival is key, but it’s not everything. Susan Greenberg Feltman’s world-building is exceptional, seamlessly blending the remnants of a once-thriving massive city with the challenges of life underground.

The pacing of the story balances well with the action, and heart pumping scenes, with the so-called normality of family life. This is a story about survival, and humanity. The human element in the story is very important, or they would just be another group of survivalists, and this is not that kind of story.

What a captivating story and unpredictable, with twists all the way to the end. As the Waters Rise is a definite recommendation by Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who reads this book also write a review.”
